2019 being the final year of front-engine C7 dominance, Corvette built a monster—the 2019 ZR-1, the most powerful and fastest Corvette ever produced. Delivering 755 horsepower with 715 ft. lbs. of torque, with a top speed of 214 MPH, it was the Corvette team’s ultimate achievement before switching to the much lower performance mid-engine C8 series, by the way none of which have outperformed it to date, maybe the ZR-1 version will soon...

Among the 2,953 total ZR-1s produced, just 440 were convertibles, there exists a unicorn so rare it almost sounds like a myth. Of those drop-tops, only 140 were ordered with a 7-speed manual transmission—the last of its kind in a convertible Corvette.
